2021: The ultra-athletic London, who has also played on USC’s basketball team, proved to be one of the nation’s top wide receivers while starting for a third season as a junior in 2021 despite playing only 7.5 games before being sidelined with an injury. Overall in 2021 while starting all 8 games he played, he had 88 receptions for 1,084 yards (12.3 avg) with 7 TDs, plus a 2-yard rush and a tackle. Before getting hurt in Game 8, he was on pace to break Biletnikoff winner Marqise Lee’s 2012 USC season records in catches (118) and receiving yards (1,721). His 88 receptions in 2021 are tied for ninth on USC’s season catches list. He and Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree in 2007 are the only Power 5 players with 88 catches through 8 games. He had 5 games in 2021 with 10 or more catches and 6 with at least 130 receiving yards (including 5 in row, the first Trojan with 5 consecutive 100-yard receiving outings since Lee in 2012). He missed USC’s last 4 games (Arizona State, UCLA, BYU, California) with a broken ankle.
He made the 2021 Pro Football Focus All-American first team, Football Writers All-American second team, Walter Camp All-American second team, AP All-American third team and Phil Steele All-American third team.
