2021: Simpson joined the Trojans midseason but did not see action as a cornerback as a redshirt freshman in 2021.
LOYOLA MARYMOUNT: He played basketball as a first-year freshman at Loyola Marymount in 2021, appearing briefly in 2 games but he did not score.
HIGH SCHOOL: He spent 2020 at Prolific Prep basketball academy in Napa (Calif.).
He played basketball at Sierra Canyon High in Chatsworth (Calif.), serving as team captain as a 2019 senior. Sierra Canyon won 2 California state championships while he was there. He also was on the lacrosse team at Sierra Canyon.
He spent his 2017 sophomore season at Harvard-Westlake High in Studio City (Calif.).
PERSONAL: He is majoring in Communication and Sociology at USC with a 3.35 GPA. He hosted “The SLAM Show with Host LBoogz” on the SLAM Magazine online video platform, where he interviewed numerous current and former NBA players. He has a clothing brand, “Take No L’s.”
