CAREER: In his 5-year collegiate career (4 years at Colorado and 1 year at USC), he caught 107 passes for 1,285 yards (12.0 avg) with 8 TDs, returned 36 kickoffs for 813 yards (22.6 avg), had 18 carries for 36 yards (2.0 avg) with 1 TD, had 5 punt returns for 31 yards (6.2 avg), threw a 38-yard touchdown pass and made 3 tackles.
2021: Nixon, a standout Pac-12 wide receiver who transferred as a graduate student to USC from Colorado in the spring of 2021, saw action in 10 games (all but Notre Dame and BYU) at wideout and as a returner as a senior in 2021. Overall in 2021, he had 3 receptions for 35 yards (11.7 avg) with 1 TD, 3 kickoff returns for 55 yards (18.3 avg), 3 punt returns for 21 yards (7.0 avg) and 1 tackle.

COLORADO: In his 4-year (2017-20) career at Colorado, Nixon caught 104 passes for 1,250 yards (12.0 avg) with 7 TDs, returned 33 kickoffs for 758 yards (23.0 avg), had 18 carries for 36 yards (2.0 avg) with 1 TD, had 2 punt returns for 10 yards (5.0 avg), threw a 38-yard touchdown pass and made 3 tackles. He ranked in CU’s career Top 20 in receptions, receiving yards, kickoff returns and kickoff return yardage. He appeared in 39 games for the Buffs, with 23 starts.
As a 2019 junior, he had 35 catches for 465 yards (13.3 avg) with 3 TDs, 16 kickoff returns for 374 yards (23.4 avg), 2 punt returns for 10 yards (5.0 avg), 5 carries for 19 yards (3.8 avg) and threw a 38-yard TD pass while appearing in all 12 games (with 11 starts). He won CU’s Eddie Crowder Award for outstanding leadership. Against Nebraska, he had 6 receptions for 148 yards, including a 96-yard TD (the longest touchdown catch in school history). He also had 6 catches versus Arizona State (98 yards) and UCLA (56 yards). Two of his 3 receptions (for 20 yards) against USC were for TDs.
He had 52 receptions for 636 yards (12.2 avg) with 4 TDs as a 2018 sophomore while appearing in 11 games (with 8 starts), as well as 6 kickoff returns for 123 yards (20.5 avg), 1 punt return for -1 yard (-1.0 avg) and 9 carries for -8 yards (-0.9 avg) with a TD. He had 13 catches for 198 yards and 2 TDs against Oregon State (tied for the second most receptions in a game by a Buffalo). In the opener against Colorado State, he had 6 catches for 112 yards with a TD in his first career start. He also had 6 catches against both USC (36 yards) and New Hampshire (30 yards), 5 against both Arizona State (97 yards) and Nebraska (39 yards) and 4 against Washington (36 yards). His other TD catch was against California. He had an 8-yard rushing TD at Arizona. He missed the Washington State game with an injury.
He appeared in all 12 games as a 2017 freshman, catching 2 passes for 17 yards (8.5 avg), rushing 3 times for 20 yards (6.7 avg), returning 11 kickoffs for 261 yards (23.7 avg) and making 3 tackles.
HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2016 PrepStar All-American and SportsDay High School All-Dallas Area first team as a senior wide receiver at DeSoto (Tex.) High, with 69 receptions for 1,148 yards (16.6 avg) and 11 TDs. DeSoto went 16-0 in 2016 and won the Texas Class 6A Division II state title.
As a 2015 junior, he had 26 catches for 406 yards (15.6 avg) with 4 TDs.
He also ran track at DeSoto.
PERSONAL: He received his bachelor’s degree in strategic communications from Colorado in December of 2020 and is working on graduate certificate in gerontology at USC. He was National Football Foundation Academic All-Colorado honorable mention in 2017. His full first name is Kadarrian. He has 13 brothers and sisters.
