2021: Collier, a high-potential redshirt freshman, will work to get into the offensive line mix as a redshirt freshman in 2021.
2020: Collier saw backup action in 1 game (at tackle against Washington State) as a first-year freshman offensive lineman in 2020.
HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2019 PrepStar All-Central Region and All-District 12-5A Division II first team as a senior offensive tackle at Barbers Hill High in Mont Belvieu (Tex.).
As a 2018 junior, he allowed just 2 sacks.
He also played basketball at Barbers Hill.
PERSONAL: His sister, Charli, was a center on the Texas women’s basketball team (2019-21) and was the No. 1 pick of the 2021 WNBA Draft when she was chosen by the Dallas Wings. His late father, Elliott, played basketball at Montana State in the late 1980s. His mother, Ponda (Griggs), played center at Southwestern University (1986-90).
