USC Fourth After Pac-12 Championships Third Round

Justin Suh is third, three back, entering final day.
Sophomore Kaito Onishi and senior Justin Suh carded par rounds to lead No. 6 USC in the third round of the 2019 Pac-12 Men's Golf Championships at the Eugene (Ore.) C.C. on Tuesday (April 23).
The defending conference champion Trojans are fourth at 8-over 1073 (359-354-360) after 54 holes. California leads the field at 15-under 1050 while UCLA is three off the lead, Stanford four. Host Oregon is fifth, a shot back of USC.
Suh, also trying to defend his 2018 individual crown, is tied for third at 8-under 205 (69-65-71) after his par round. Suh grabbed the solo lead briefly during the afternoon at 10-under thanks to birdies on 11 and 13 before finishing the final five holes at 2-over.
Suh is three back of California's Collin Morikawa while Utah's Kyler Dunkle is second at 10-under. UCLA's Cole Madey is tied for third with Suh. USC's senior from San Jose, Calif., will look to rally for his second straight Pac-12 title in Wednesday's final round. Still, he is in line for his seventh top 10 this year and third top 10 at the conference event.
Onishi is tied for 13th at 1-under 212 (69-72-71). He turned at 1-over today with two birdies. He eagled the par 5 13th hole and bogeyed 15 for his 1-under back 9.
Senior Sam Kim is tied for 34th at 5-over 218 (73-73-72) after a 1-over round that saw him birdie 3 and 16. Junior Kyle Suppa is tied for 41st at 7-over 220 (75-72-73), using birdies on 13 and 16 for a 1-under back 9.
Sophomore Issei Tanabe is tied for 45th at 8-over 221 (76-72-73) and freshman Charlie Reiter is 65th at 16-over 229 (73-77-79).
USC will tee off in the final round with Oregon and Arizona State beginning at 8 a.m. Suh will be last off at 8:55 a.m.
