2023: Jones was limited due to injuries. She focused on the 400m hurdles for the first time in her collegiate career and the early-season results were impressive. She opened the season by running 56.53 to win the 400m hurdles at the Aztec Invitational on March 25. She placed third in the event at the Florida Relays with a PR of 56.17 on March 31, which moved her to seventh on USC’s all-time list. She won the event at the Trojan Invitational on April 8 with a time of 56.73. Although she did not compete again, her 400m hurdles time held up as 10th in the country through the regular season. During the indoor season, Jones competed with the 4x400m relay which earned All-America honors by placing fourth at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a time of 3:28.58, fifth on USC’s all-time indoor list.
 2022: Jones placed second in the 100m hurdles at the NCAA Championships to earn All-America status with a PR of 12.66 (-0.2) to better her fourth-place standing on USC's all-time list...she moved into fourth in the semifinals when she ran 12.72...she also ran a leg on the 4x100m (10th) and 4x400m (16th) relays. She won the Pac-12 100m hurdles title with a time of 12.92 (+0.3) on May 15...she also ran on the 4x100m (2nd) and 4x400m (2nd) relays at the Pac-12 Championships. She won the Dual Meet 100m hurdles title with a time of 13.08 and in her first collegiate long jump she jumped 20-0.25/6.10m (+1.4) to take second. Indoors, she had a 60m hurdles PR of 7.93 in the NCAA semifinals to move into a third-place tie on USC's all-time list, but hit a hurdle in the final and could not complete the race. During the summer, she reached the USATF Championships semifinals in the 100m hurdles, finishing 10th with a time of 12.81 (+0.8).2021: Posted a 100m hurdle PR of 12.89 (+0.9) to take second place at the Beach Invitationals and move into sixth on USC's all-time list. Jones won the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.01. (+0.3) at the Trojan Invitational, her first collegiate outdoor race. Jones finished second to her teammate Anna Cockrell and matched her personal with a time of 12.89 (+0.0) at the Pac-12 Championships. She placed 10th in the NCAA semifinals with a time of 12.94 (-0.5), just missing out on qualifying for the finals. She also ran leadoff on USC's NCAA champion 4x100m relay which ran 42.82 to win the title.
HIGH SCHOOL: Jones is a 2020 graduate of Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, Ga. She was a 12-time Georgia state individual champion and posted bests of 13.19 in the 100m hurdles, 60.6 in the 400m hurdles and 20-2.00 in the long jump. During the 2020 indoor season she ran 8.12 in the 60m hurdles which ranked first in the nation among high school athletes and No. 7 in indoor prep history. She capped her 2019 outdoor campaign by winning the 100m hurdles at the USATF U20 Championships in a personal-best 13.19, which ranked as the nation’s No. 1 time among high school athletes in 2019 and 13th all-time. She was undefeated all season and posted the top four times by a high schooler in 2019. Jones also won the event at the Pan-Am Championships in Costa Rica. At the 2019 GHSA 3A State Championships, she swept the 200m dash, the 100m hurdles and the long jump—the latter the nation’s No. 7 leap among prep competitors in 2019—leading the Spartans to the team title. She was ranked the No. 5 recruit in the Class of 2020 by MileSplit. Jones was also a National Honor Society student all four years and a silver medalist for the National Spanish Exam.
PERSONAL: Jasmine was born on Nov. 30, 2001…Her parents are Henry and Joanna Jones and she has two siblings, Jada and Jordan…Her hobbies include reading, acting, singing and dancing…Her favorite movies include The Great Gatsby and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, her favorite actress is Florence Pugh and her favorite musical artists are Gunna, Travis Scott, The 1975 and Rihanna…Her favorite foods are tacos, pears and rice…She took a mission trip to Nicaragua with Amigos for Christ and was a member of the Zoomin’ to Action service team…Someday would like to travel to Spain, Egypt and Italy…She is a Biological Sciences major at USC.
