Bio
THIS YEAR: Senior Rae-Anne Serville is in her fourth season as a 400m runner on the USC track and field team. She owns the Trinidad and Tobago junior record in the 400m dash.
2021: She won her first two collegiate 400m races, taking the crown at the Trojan Invitational (53.45) and the Aztec Invitational (53.22). Had a season-best time of 53.02 to finish fifth in the 400m at the Long Beach Invitational. She placed sixth in the 400m with a time of 53.39 at the Pac-12 Championships. She finished 23rd in the 400m with a time of 54.16 at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds.
HIGH SCHOOL: Serville graduated in 2020 from St. Joseph’s Convent in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. Her international experience includes competing at the 2018 World Junior Championships in Finland and making the national team for the 2019 Pan Am Games in Costa Rica (did not compete) and the 2019 NACAC Championships in Mexico. She set a 400m PR and Trinidad and Tobago junior record with a time of 52.89 at the NCG/NAAA Junior T&F Championships on June 8, 2019. She also has bests of 2:14.99 in the 800m and 14.32 in the 100m hurdles.
PERSONAL: Rae-Anne was born on April 30, 2002 in Trinidad and Tobago…Her mother is Janine Serville and her father is Leslie Fitzpatrick...Rae-Anne is the eldest of three sisters…She is a Health and Human Science major at USC.

2023: Serville was limited to two indoor competitions due to injury. She ran on USC’s winning 4x400m relay at the Cougar Classic on Jan 13 which won with a time of 3:37.92. She had a time of 54.96 to place 11th in the 400m at the MLK Invitational on Jan. 21.
2022: Injury limited Serville to one meet each during the outdoor and indoor seasons. She took second in the 400m with a time of 54.66 at the Triton Invitational on April 9. Indoors, she had a 400m time of 55.64 to place 14th at the Red Raider Invite on Jan. 21. During the summer she won the 400m title at the National Association of Athletics Administrations of Trinidad and Tobago (NAAATT) with a time of 54.69 on June 25.Â2021: She won her first two collegiate 400m races, taking the crown at the Trojan Invitational (53.45) and the Aztec Invitational (53.22).
