Bio
THIS YEAR: Senior Kimberly Harris is in her fourth season as a sprinter and jumper on the USC track and field team. She ran on USC's sixth-fastest indoor 4x400m relay. She ranks ninth on USC's all-time indoor 400m list.
2021: Harris placed seventh in the 400m with a time of 53.46 at the Pac-12 Championships. She set her personal best in the 400m of 51.84 at the NCAA West Prelims to finish 12th and advance to the NCAA Championships. She placed 20th in the NCAA semifinals with a time of 52.66.
HIGH SCHOOL: Harris is a 2020 graduate of Buford HS in Buford, Ga. She has personal bests of 11.62 in the 100m, 23.39 in the 200m, 52.16 in the 400m and 20-2.50 in the long jump. As a junior her 400m time of 52.16 was sixth in the country among high school athletes and second among returning athletes. She won the Georgia 5-A 400m title in each of her first three seasons of high school, winning the 2019 title with her PR of 52.16 and the 200m title with a time of 23.63. She led her team to the 2019 Georgia state title, Buford's third straight, and was the meet's highest point scorer. She ran for Team USA at the 2019 U20 Pan Am Championships and was part of the 4x400m relay team which set the U20 world record with a time of 3:24.04…She was an A/B Honor Roll student.
PERSONAL: Kimberly was born on July 11, 2002 in Raleigh, N.C…Her parents are James and Cortina Harris and her siblings are Sydney, Olivia and Carrington…In her free time she likes to listen to music and play with new technologies…Lists her favorite actor as Nafessa Williams, musician as Beyonce and movie as Aladdin…Her favorite food is pasta…Would like to travel to Africa one day…She helped at elementary schools near where she grew up and brought food to homeless shelters…After school would like to be successful on the track and start her own business that will help uplift others…Is a Communication major at USC.

2023: Harris opened the outdoor season by placing third in the 400m at the Aztec Invitational on March 25 with a time of 53.74. She had a season-best 400m time of 52.82 to place seventh at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 14. She recorded an indoor 200m PR of 23.78 at the Tiger Paw Invite on Feb. 11. She had a indoor season best 400m time of 52.68 at the Ken Shannon Last Chance Meet on Feb. 25.
2022: Harris battled injuries during most of the season, but came back to take third in the 400m with a time of 55.10 at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 1. ..she also competed in the long jump for the first time as a Trojan and had a jump of 17-4.00. She then finished ninth in the 400m at the Pac-12 Championships with a time of 54.50...she had a season-best time of 53.77 in the prelims. She also helped the 4x400m relay to a second-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships, fifth place at the NCAA West Prelims and 16th a the NCAA Championships. During the indoor season, she ran a PR of 52.36 to win and set the meet record at the Arkansas Qualifier on Feb. 18...that time moved her to eighth on USC's all-time indoor list.2021: Harris placed seventh in the 400m with a time of 53.46 at the Pac-12 Championships. She set her personal best in the 400m of 51.84 at the NCAA West Prelims to finish 12th and advance to the NCAA Championships. She placed 20th in the NCAA semifinals with a time of 52.66.
