Summary

Biography

THIS YEAR:  Redshirt senior Dylan Lange is in his fourth season as a thrower on the USC track and field team.  He originally came to USC to play volleyball.

2022:  Lange took second in the javelin throw with a PR of 164-6 (59.15m) at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 1.  He placed third in the javelin with a throw of 162-7 (49.56m) at the Trojan Invitational on March 19.

2021:  Lange competed in four meets.  He had a season-best javelin throw of 153-8 (46.84m) in his official college debut at the Trojan Invitational  He took second in the javelin throw at the USC-UCLA Dual meet with a mark of 153-2 (46.70m).

2020:  Lange did not compete before the season was cancelled due to COVID-19.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Lange is a 2018 graduate of Hart HS in Santa Clarita, Calif.  where he made the 2018 Los Angeles Daily News All-Area first team and All-Foothill League first team in volleyball.  He he had 115 kills as a senior, helping Hart HS to the program record in wins and its first-ever win in a CIF playoff match.  Lange was Hart’s captain in 2017 and 2018, as well as the team MVP as a 2016 sophomore 

PERSONAL:  Dylan was born on August 4, 2000...His father Dan  was a longtime assistant coach in the throws for USC...He was a 4-year starter with the Legacy Volleyball Club, including on the 15s team that won a bronze medal at the Junior Olympics.

CAREER BESTS:  Javelin -  164-6 (59.15m)
