Brennan Wilhite is a freshman middle blocker for the Women of Troy.
HIGH SCHOOL
Wilhite was a four-year letterwinner as a middle blocker at Cathedral Catholic HS under head coach Juliana Evans… helped lead her team to the 2015 and 2016 Western League Championship… served as team captain for the 2016 season… was a 2016 PrepVolleyball Senior Ace, a 2015 PrepVolleyball Top 50 Junior… 2016 PrepVolleyball High School All-American… 2016 Western League Athlete of the Year… a two-time CIF Scholar-Athlete (2015-16)… named to the 2015 and 2016 San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Team… selected to the Cathedral Catholic HS honor roll.
CLUB VOLLEYBALL
Wilhite played seven years for Coast Volleyball Club under club director Ozhan Bahrambeygui; the same club that produced Trojan opposite hitter Brittany Abercrombie, setter Hayley Crone, and beach All-American Alexa Strange… helped her club finish first in the Southern California Volleyball Association in 2013, ’14, ’15, and ’17… named to the 2015 PrepVolleyball Dream Team at the SCVA and Big South qualifiers… a 2015 PrepVolleyball Club All-American… played 2014 and ’15 with the USA A1 Youth National Training Team.

Brennan Allegra Wilhite was born on Jan. 2, 1999, in Encinitas, Calif.… parents are Brad and Carrie Wilhite… has one younger sister Peyton, and one younger brother Dillon… father Brad lettered in golf at Texas Christian Univ.… grandfather Bill Brennan played football at USC… cousin Brent Brennan played wide received for UCLA (1991-95) and is currently the head football coach at San Jose State… cousin Brad Brennan played football at Arizona and cousin Colt Brennan starred at quarterback for Hawai’i and later for the NFL’s Washington Redskins… enjoys art as a hobby, in particular painting and drawing… aspires to work for a sports network as a future career… majoring in journalism.
