HIGH SCHOOL: Hemi spent three years on the varsity rowing team at Epsom Girls Grammar School in Auckland, New Zealand under coach Paul Westbury…Earned school colours in the GU18 8+…Named U18 Rower of the Year in 2018…Best 2k time in 2017 and 2018…First place finishes at the MAADI Cup on GU17 4+ in 2018 and GU16 8+ in 2017…Placed second at the MAADI Cup on the GU17 8+ crew in 2018.
CLUB: Competed for the Auckland Rowing Club for four years…Coxed eight on the Women’s Club for first place at New Zealand Club Championships in 2018…Placed first in Women’s Club 8+ North Island Club Championships in 2018 and 2017…Won Best School Girls Crew…Best National Performance…Best School 2018 awards.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Rowed on the North Island U18 Team for one year…Competed in the North vs. South Regatta in 2018…Earned GU18 8+ and GU18 4+ selections.
