The senior from Chicago had the highest undergraduate GPA of all students.
LOS ANGELES — USC women's rowing senior Isabella Korellis was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women's At Large Team, as announced by the organization on June 16.
To make the Academic All-District Women's At Large team, an undergraduate athlete must have at least a 3.50 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), compete in 90% of a team's competitions or compete as a member of an NCAA boat (1V8, 2V8, 1V4, etc.) at a conference or national championship. This is the first CSC All-Academic award of Korellis' career.
The senior from Chicago, Illinois majored in public policy and graduated from USC in May with a 4.0 grade point average, which was the highest undergraduate GPA of all students. Earlier this year, Korellis also earned CRCA Scholar-Athlete and All-Big Ten Spring Academic awards.
Korellis competed in seven regattas this season, primarily in the Trojans' 2V8+. At the Big Ten Championships, she was part of a 2V8+ crew that placed fourth in the grand finals.
USC placed sixth out of 11 teams at the Big Ten Championships under second-year Head Coach Kelsie Chaudoin.
