HIGH SCHOOL: Bueno was a three-year letter winner playing volleyball at the libero position for Louisville High School in Los Angeles under coach Dhiraj Coats…As a senior, was named to 2nd Team All-League…Won the Louisville High School Coach’s Award both sophomore and senior year…Made CIF playoff appearances every year since starting on varsity…Academic honors include Principal’s Honor Roll all four years…Received the AP European History Subject Award as a sophomore…Member of the CSF and NHS.
CLUB: Played club volleyball for six years, including two years on A4 Volleyball Club…Played beach volleyball for her varsity team, LA Beach and Endless Summer Beach VBC…As a senior, team at A4 Volley placed in the top three of the Reno City GJNQ to earn an Open Bid to Nationals…Team finished within the Top 30 of the 18 Open Division at the USAV 18’s Girls Junior National Championships during the same season.
PERSONAL: Bianca Namyr Bueno was born on July 4, 2000, in Los Angeles, Calif….Daughter of Myrna and Mauricio Bueno…Has one brother named Brandon…Father Mauricio attended USC as an undergrad and went to Keck School of Medicine…Older brother Brandon plays D1 Golf at UCSB…Chose to attend USC because of the resources at Annenberg…Majoring in journalism with aspirations to become a sports broadcaster or news reporter.
