As a 2011 junior, he had 45 tackles (with 5 for losses) and a fumble recovery. He also was on the basketball and track teams at La Jolla Country Day. He made the Area All-Academic team in all 3 sports. Current Trojan Nick Schlossberg also prepped at La Jolla Country Day.
