Fogel had a unique 2005 sophomore season, starting as a pinch hitter and switching to a role in the Trojans[apos] bullpen...went 1-0 with a 5.71 ERA...in 17 1/3 innings, he allowed 22 hits, 11 earned runs, walked seven and struck out five batters...went 0-for-2 as a pinch-hitter...threw two scoreless innings in his collegiate debut on April 20 at Cal State Fullerton...threw three scoreless innings and allowed just one hit while striking out three to earn his first collegiate win on May 18 at Notre Dame. 2004
