22 Trojans Selected for NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

USC sweep platform diving competition at NCAA Zone E Diving Championships
LOS ANGELES – Six Trojan divers punched their tickets to the upcoming National Championships on Wednesday, March. 13, with Laurent Gosselin-Paradis and Nike Agunbiade sweeping the platform competition at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships in Flagstaff, Ariz.
Agunbiade qualified for her fifth straight NCAA's, punching her ticket on 1-meter and platform. The tower specialist claimed the event with 610.15 points and was second on 1-meter with 588.60 points.
Trojan Gosselin-Paradis claimed the platform competition with 779.25 points and also qualified on both springboards. In the 1-meter competition, Paradis was fifth with 650.10 points, while he was eighth on 3-meter with 711.90 points.
USC junior Shangfei Wang qualified on both springboards, finishing second on 1-meter (733.45) and third on 3-meter (750.30).
Additionally, Robert Gref (platform – 709.30) and Grace Lee (platform – 479.75) also qualified for NCAAs with their finishes.
Qualified divers will compete at their respective NCAA Championships, with the women set to dive March 21-23 at the Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Georgia. Troy will compete at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind. March 28-30.

Ten Women of Troy will represent USC at next week's Division I women's swimming championships. The championships will be held March 20-23 at the Jack Bauerle Pool at the Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Georgia. The University of Georgia will serve as the host.

Troy will travel six swimmers to the Division I men's swimming championships, which kicks off Wednesday, March 27, at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis. The event is hosted by Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and the Indiana Sports Corporation.
