Men’s Swimming & Diving Finishes In Top 15 at NCAA Championships for Second Straight Season

Straight Season Laurent Gosselin-Paradis becomes first Trojan diver since 2018 to reach platform diving finals.
ATLANTA - The USC men's swimming and diving squad concluded competition at the 2026 NCAA Championships with 14th place finish and 69 points in the team standings. This marks the second consecutive season in which the Trojans placed within the top 15 after finishing 15th just one year ago.
The USC diving squad dominated throughout the week and did just that on the fourth and final day of competition. Laurent Gosselin-Paradis finished eighth on platform to advance to the evening session, becoming the first USC diver to do so since Dashiell Enos in 2018.
Gosselin-Paradis posted a score of 386.40 to place seventh and earn First Team All-American honors for the first of his career in his final career meet.
Robert Gref competed in the platform diving prelims and posted a score of 306.70 and finished 31st.
Michal Chmielewski earned Second Team All-American honors in his second event of the 2026 championships. Chmielewski took 12th in the 200y butterfly with a time of 1:39.93.
In the 100y freestyle, Oliver Sogaard-Andersen touched the wall at 42.25 to finish 34th.
The 400y relay quartet of Oliver Sogaard-Andersen, Michal Chmielewski, Vaggelis Makrygiannis and Jan Bialecki took 27th with a mark of 2:50.48.
