THIS SEASON: Brigitta Games enters her final season at USC.
2016: Games was the team’s second leading scorer with 43 goals as a junior... A Peter J. Cutino Award finalist... A First Team All-American... Named to NCAA All-Tournament First Team after scoring seven goals at the tourney... Named to MPSF All-Tournament Team and was selected to the All-MPSF Second Team... Scored in 23 games with 15 multiple-goal outings... Matched her career high with four goals vs. UC San Diego on Feb. 5... Named MPSF Player of the Week on April 12... Scored twice in the MPSF Semifinals.
2015: Games scored 27 goals in her first season at USC... Earned All-American Honorable Mention and to MPSF All-Newcomer Team... Scored the winning goal in overtime against Cal in the NCAA third-place game... Scored in 18 games overall with six multiple-goal outings... Set a career high with four goals scored in her first game as a Trojan — USC’s season opener against CSU Bakersfield... Scored twice at the MPSF Tournament and scored five goals at the NCAA Tournament.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Games was a member of the U.S. Youth National Team... Also was a member of the USA’s 2013 World University Games Team competing in Kazan, Russia.
AT GWC: Games played one season of water polo at Golden West College... Won 2013 state championship... Also swam at Golden West, named the conference’s Most Valuable Swimmer.
HIGH SCHOOL: Games swam and competed in throws on the track and field team at Chatfield High in Littleton, Colo... Played club water polo for Rocky Mountain Neptunes and for Colorado Water Polo... Named to ODP All-Region Team... Was a two-time USA Water Polo Academic All-American... As a swimmer, earned all-conference second team honors in 2010 and twice received all-conference honorable mention... Also earned all-conference honorable mention in track in 2012... An honor student.
PERSONAL: Games is majoring in global studies... Parents are Silvia and Gregory... Has one brother, Nicholas, and one sister, Annika... Annika was a swimmer at Ohio University... Enjoys camping with family and going to the movies in her free time... Has always wanted to go heli-skiing in Canada or Austria... Also hopes to travel to Greece, Italy and Japan... Born Feb. 9, 1995.
