2019: Amanda Longan finished her USC career ranked as the Trojans' No. 3 all-time goalie with 580 career saves... Her 260 saves made in 2019 stands as the fourth most in a single season by a USC goalie... Named to ACWPC All-America First Team... Also picked up All-MPSF First Team honors as well as spots on the NCAA All-Tournament Second Team and the MPSF Tournament Team... Recorded a new career-high of 19 saves vs. CBU on Jan. 18, marking the second most single-game saves ever by a USC goalie... Averaged 10.9 saves and 4.7 goals-against per game in her 27 appearances... Made double-digit saves in 15 games... Named MPSF Player of the Week on Feb. 12.
2018: Longan became the second USC goalie to win the Peter J. Cutino Award... Named National Player of the Year and MPSF Player of the Year... A First Team All-American and selected to the All-MPSF First Team... Named NCAA Tournament MVP and to the MPSF All-Tournament Team... Finished the season as USC’s No. 3 all-time saves leader with 580 career saves... Set a new career high with 18 saves vs. Cal on Feb. 24... Had 10 games with double-digit saves... 2017: Longan averaged 10.91 saves and 5.58 goals-against in 24 appearances as a sophomore… Made a season-high 14 saves against Cal in the MPSF Tournament… Named a Third Team All-American and Second Team All-MPSF… Was an MPSF Scholar-Athlete… Recorded 19 saves in two NCAA Tournament games.
2016: Longan averaged 10.4 saves and 4.7 goals-against per game as a true freshman... Appeared in 18 games, collecting a total of 145 saves on the year... A First Team All-American... Also named to All-MPSF First Team and MPSF All-Newcomer Team... Picked MPSF Tournament MVP after making 22 saves in two games... Had 12 saves in the MPSF Championship game... Compiled 24 saves in three games at the NCAA Tournament, with nine in the semifinals and final... Set career high with 17 saves at Stanford on April 16... Had eight games with double-digit saves... A five-time MPSF Newcomer of the Week.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Longan is a member of the U.S. National Team... A 2020 Olympian, won gold with Team USA at the Tokyo Games... Won gold at 2021 FINA Super Final... Also a member of Team USA's gold-medal rosters at the 2019 FINA World Championships and 2019 FINA Super Final... Also won gold at the 2017 FINA World Championships... Won gold at the 2015 FINA Junior World Championships and was named Top Goalkeeper at the event... Also has been a member of the U.S. Youth and Cadet national teams.
HIGH SCHOOL: Longan was named league Player of the Year as a junior out of Oaks Christian High in Westlake Village, Calif.... Helped her team win the Tri-Valley League championship for the first time in school history in 2014... Set school record with 31 saves in a singles game... Was a three-time all-league first team selection... Named the Ventura County Star Most Valuable Goalie as a senior and was also selected to the first team... A three-time Ventura County Star second team honoree... Played club for 805 Santa Barbara.
PERSONAL: Longan majored in psychology and hopes to pursue a career as a sports psychologist... Parents are Kim and Jon... Has two sisters, Andi and Shelby... Came to USC hoping to win NCAA championships USC and to play in the Olympic Games in the future... Enjoys watching Supercross, riding ATVs, singing, dancing and listening to country music in her free time... Lists Bethany Hamilton as her biggest sports hero...
