"I am thrilled to be joining coach Gottlieb and the USC women’s basketball program in this newly created role within the team,” Broadhead said. "I have witnessed first-hand through the business side the tremendous growth of women’s basketball, and I am excited to bring my experience and leadership to directly help grow the game I am so passionate about. These are new and exciting times in the collegiate world and women’s sports, and I am looking forward to creating and innovating around a new path forward for the USC players and program.”
Broadhead is a consumer-driven leader with over two decades of experience in enterprise management and bringing athlete, brand and product visions to life. She has worked for brands such as Nike, Jordan Brand, Puma, adidas, Reebok and New Balance.
She has worked with WNBA athletes on uniform solutions, managed signature athlete strategies for basketball and tennis, and has worked with thousands of basketball players from high school to pro, to gain brand insights and aid in consumer connections. She was also an instrumental part of launching the first basketball shoe made specifically for women in 2009. She has developed basketball-specific connections at the NCAA, WNBA and NBA levels in addition to her collegiate playing experience as a student-athlete at Brown.
