Bio
CAREER: In his collegiate career (1 season at Dartmouth and 2 seasons at USC), he has 10 tackles, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble while appearing in 27 games.
2022: Croom, who moved from inside linebacker to defensive back in the spring of 2022, will look to compete for playing time as a defensive back and on special teams as a redshirt senior in 2022.
2021: Croom, who was moved from safety to inside linebacker in the spring of 2021, saw action in all 12 games on special teams as a redshirt senior in 2021. Overall in 2021, he had 2 tackles (both at Washington State) and forced at fumble (at Washington State).
2020: Croom, who came to USC in the fall of 2020 as a graduate transfer after playing at Dartmouth and was eligible to play immediately, was a senior backup safety and played on special teams in 2020. Overall in 2020 while appearing in all 6 games, he made 1 tackle (against Washington State).

He spent his 2014 junior season at Servite High in Anaheim (Calif.). He made the 2013 Cal-Hi Sports Sophomore All-State first team as a sophomore at Long Beach (Calif.) Poly High.
PERSONAL: He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Dartmouth in the spring of 2020 and is working on his master’s degree in communication management at USC with a 3.02 GPA. He speaks Japanese. His brother, Larry Jr., was a running back at UNLV and then played for the Arizona Cardinals (2004-05), Tennessee Titans (2005), Detroit Lions (2005), San Diego Chargers (2006) and Pittsburgh Steelers (2007), as well as in Europe with the Hamburg Sea Devils (2005), Amsterdam Admirals (2006), Dresden Monarchs (2011-12) and Berlin Adler (2013-2019).
