USC's Clarice Akunwafo and Kiki Iriafen Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

The two Trojan posts shine in the paint and the classroom.
USC senior post players Clarice Akunwafo and Kiki Iriafen have shown that they are shining both on the court and in the classroom, as both Trojans have earned Academic All-District honors from Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as CoSIDA.
As the top-seeded USC team heads into the NCAA Sweet 16 for the second straight season, Akunwafo and Iriafen both boast cumulative GPAs of over 3.5 in their respective degree programs. Akunwafo, who is also studying for the MCAT, is majoring in health and human sciences as she wraps up her fourth year at USC. A two-time All-American, Iriafen is in her first year at USC after completing her undergraduate degree at Stanford. As a Trojan, she is USC's top rebounder and in line to repeat as the nation's top power forward. Iriafen is pursuing a master's degree in entrepreneurship and innovation at USC.
Akunwafo and Iriafen are with their team in Spokane, Wash., for competition in the NCAA Spokane Regional as they set up for a Sweet 16 battle against Kansas State at 5 p.m. on Saturday (March 29) looking to advance to Monday's Elite Eight.
