- The Trojans are 65-32 all-time in road games and 7-0 against Cal on the road. USC is 11-11 in neutral games and 2-2 against the Buffaloes in those games.
- USC went 2-1 against the Golden Bears and Colorado last season, with the lone loss coming in the Pac-12 Tournament Semifinals; L, 9-12 (May 2, 2024).
- This is a new ERA for all three squads, as USC is in its first year with the Big Ten, Cal is in their first year with the ACC, and Colorado is part of the inaugural year of Big 12 women's lacrosse.
- USC is 29-43 all-time against IWLCA ranked squads.
- The Women of Troy were recently picked to finish sixth out of nine squads in their inaugural Big Ten Preseason Poll. The Golden Bears were picked to finish 12th in the ACC, and the Buffaloes were picked to finish second, behind Florida.
- USC's match-up with California and Colorado will be the first of its kind, as this is the first time that both teams will reside in separate conferences. The Trojans, the Golden Bears and the Buffaloes were all part of the MPSF and the Pac-12 together.
- The Trojans are 7-4 all-time in road openers.
- USC is 32-23 all-time against current ACC members, and 48-10 against current Big 12 members.
- The Trojans' longest winning streak against one opponent is against the Golden Bears, as USC has won 17 straight, with the lone loss coming in the first-ever matchup.
- Lindsey Munday was selected as the U.S. Women's Sixes National Team Head Coach on Apr. 9. Munday will oversee this new version of play for the National Team, as her appointment will end in 2026. Sixes will be featured in the 2028 Olympics as lacrosse will make its Olympic debut in Los Angeles.
- The Trojans will play this season in two different venues, as they will open at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, but will play seven of their nine home games at Dignity Health Sports Park. USC will play one more game at the Coliseum, as it is set for its Big Ten opener against Johns Hopkins on Mar. 16. The Trojans will play these games off site as its new stadium is under construction. The brand-new Rawlinson Stadium is set to open in 2026.
- USC is currently ranked No. 24 in the in the first week edition of the IWLCA Poll.
- Senior Catherine Lord earned a spot on the preseason Tewaaraton Watch List among 50 other women.
- The Trojans Isabelle Vitale and Alexis Niblock were both selected to the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-American List, where Vitale was selected as a third team member and Niblock was honorable mention.
- Isabelle Vitale enters the second game second in program history with 112 career assists. She moved into second place after her four-assist game against Villanova. The redshirt senior is 10 assists from the USC record of 122. The redshirt senior is also one goal away from 100 career goals.
- Sophomore Anna Regan will highlight the draw circle, as last season she posted 122 draw controls, which is tied for the fourth most in a single season by a Trojan. Regan also earned her first career goal against Stanford.
