LOS ANGELES — DJ Rodman posted a 12-point, 14-rebound double-double as USC men's basketball snapped a six-game losing streak on Saturday with an 82-54 win over Oregon State at Galen Center.
It was a game of many superlatives for the Trojans (9-13, 2-8 Pac-12), which desperately needed a spark with eight conference games remaining and are still just 4.5 games from first place. Harrison Hornery (14 points), Oziyah Sellers (12) and Kijani Wright (12) also scored in double-digits for USC. Bronny James contributed nine points and a game-high six assists.
USC recorded 22 assists on 30 field goals and shot 49.2 percent, its best mark since the Jan. 3 win over California. The Trojans finished with 47 bench points. Walk-ons Zach Brooker and JD Plough made rare appearances in the final two minutes.
The Trojans found their rhythm immediately after tipoff with an 18-8 run that got going from Arrinten Page's dunk and 3-pointers from Ellis and Sellers. Despite reigning conference and national player of the week Jordan Pope scoring nine of the Beavers' first 11 points, USC held Oregon State to 39 percent shooting in the first half and forced 10 turnovers.
We'll take that to start things off 👏

USC closed the first half with a 10-2 run highlighted by Wright's buzzer-beating layup.
The Beavers scored the first four points of the second half, but 3-pointers from James and Ellis help spark a 27-5 run. Hornery scored USC's next 12 points to help keep the lead out of reach for the entire second half.
Easy as 1-2-3 for Bronny!
