McLaughlin To Play In Reese's College All-Star Game Friday

USC senior point guard Jordan McLaughlin has been selected to play in the 2018 Reese's College All-Star Game during the Final Four festivities at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on March 30, it was announced today (March 27). The game between two 10-player all-star teams will be played at 1:35 p.m. on Friday and broadcast live on the CBS Sports Network.
McLaughlin, a three-year team captain, averaged 12.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 7.8 assists, while starting all 36 games for the 24-12 Trojans. The senior's 281 assists were a school single-season record, led all Pac-12 players and currently ranks second nationally.  He also had 72 steals which ranked second among conference players and now has 213 career steals, third on USC's all-time list.  McLaughlin is one of three Pac-12 players all-time to have registered 700 or more assists and scored 1,600 or more points, joining Gary Payton of Oregon State (2,172 points/938 assists) and Brevin Knight of Stanford (1,714 points/780 assists). McLaughlin had 738 career assists and 1,648 career points scored. He also had at least three assists in his last 73 consecutive games, the longest active streak by any NCAA Division I player during the 2017-18 season.
McLaughlin finished his USC career second in assists, first in minutes played (4,294), third in steals, third in games played (128), fourth in points and fifth in three-point baskets made (185).
