HIGH SCHOOL: While at Santa Margarita Catholic, Hodges was a Trinity League MVP, a National Championship High School MVP, and a four-time Scholastic All-American ... Best high school performances include breaking the national record in the 4x100y free relay and breaking four Trinity League records in a single meet.
NATIONAL TEAM: Competed at the 2023 World University Games ... finished 2nd in the 800 free relay and made finals in two other races.
CLUB: Sandpipers of Nevada/Nadadores/Gators Swim Club

- At the 2025 Big Ten Championships, Hodges was 17th in the 200y back (1:53.93) and 18th in both the 200y free (1:46.43) and the 200y IM (1:57.69). Mackenzie also swam on USC’s 800y free relay, which finished third overall at Big Ten’s (Hodges swam the third leg).
- At the 2025 NCAA Championships, Hodges was 32nd in the 200y back (1:53.58), 46th in the 200y free (1:47.64) and 58th in the 200y IM (2:00.16). She also swam on USC’s 800y free relay (third leg – seventh overall) and 200y free relay (third leg – 21st overall).
2023-24 SEASON:
- At the Pac-12 Championships, Hodges finished 5th in the 200y backstroke (1:54.38), 17th in the 200y free (1:45.10) and 21st in the 500y free (4:48.32)
- Hodges qualified to compete at the NCAA Championships as a freshman, where she placed 41st in the 200y free (1:46.08) and 62nd in the 500y free (4:48.10)
- At the 2024 Speedo Summer Nationals, Hodges won the 200m Backstroke in a school record time of 2:12.72. She was also 5th in the 200m freestyle (2:00.64)
