THIS SEASON: Carolyn Conway enters her second season at USC as an experienced and strong option at set.
2006: After transferring from Indiana, Conway scored nine goals in her first season at USC... Had a USC career-high three goals against Pacific on Feb. 18.
AT INDIANA: Conway was the third leading scorer as a freshman for the Hoosiers with 42 goals... Also had 14 assists and 32 steals and earned 40 exclusions... Started 26 games and played in all 34... Team finished 24-10 overall and went 7-0 in the CWPA Western Division.
HIGH SCHOOL: Conway was named the Los Angeles Times and Orange County Register Player of the Year in 2004.. A first team All-CIF selection in 2004... Earned first team All-Seaview League honors as a senior... One of the Daily Pilot's top 15 athletes in 2004.. Received first team honors as Junior Nationals in 2004... Was a three-year letterwinner in swimming, a two-year letterwinner in water polo and one-year letterwinner in golf at Newport Harbor.. Led team to CIF and Seaview League Championships in 2004... Team's top scorer with 87 goals... Earned Daily Pilot and Orange County Register Athlete of the Week honors... Plays club with Golden West... Wom Speedo Cup in 1998 playing with TRAP.
PERSONAL: Conway is majoring in sociology... Parents are Becky and Bob... Has one brother, Steven, and one sister, Lauren... Has run two Los Angeles Marathons... Enjoys anything that has to do with the ocean... Birthdate is Feb. 20, 1986.
