2021-22 SEASON: Ryleigh Megill begins her senior season competing on the USC women's rowing team.
2020-21 SEASON: Megill opted out during her junior season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 SEASON: Megill competed in two races during her sophomore season….The 2019-20 rowing season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic….She finished in eighth place in the Women’s Open 2- at the San Diego Fall Classic…She also competed with the Varsity 8 at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational where her boat placed second behind Washington.
2018-19 SEASON: Megill earned a spot in the Second Varsity 8 boat as a freshman...Earned 4th place as a team at the Pac-12 Championships... Helped USC to beat UCLA to extend USC's undefeated streak to 18-0 all-time…Placed second in the B Final with the Second Varsity 8 at the Longhorn Invitational...Defeated Iowa in a dual at the Pac-12 Challenge...Placed second in the Women's Novice Open 8+ and won the Women's Open 4+ at the San Diego Fall Classic.
CLUB: Competed for Newport Aquatic Center for one year...Played seven years of club volleyball for Club H and was a team captain from 2015 to 2017...Her team placed silver in 2016 at Junior Nationals.
HIGH SCHOOL: Megill was a three-year letter winner at Los Alamitos High School on Varsity volleyball...Was selected to the Sunset League All-Academic Team.
PERSONAL: Ryleigh Shea Megill was born on January 4, 2000...Daughter of Kevin and Julie Megill...Has two brothers, Trevor and Tylor...Both of her brothers play professional baseball, Trevor with the Padres and Tylor with the Mets...Majoring in human biology...Enjoys going to the beach and spending time with friends...Would like to travel to each continent...Enjoys country music.
