2021-22 SEASON: Maddy Kim enters her senior season on the USC women's rowing team.

2020-21 SEASON: Kim competed in seven races during her junior season…Helped the Second Varsity 8+ defeat San Diego State in a dual…Competed with the Second Varsity 8+ at the Lake Las Vegas Pac-12 Invitational…Finished in fourth at the Dexter Lake Invitational with the Second Varsity 8+… Placed seventh at the Pac-12 Championships with the Second Varsity 8+.

2019-20 SEASON: Kim competed in two races during her sophomore season….The 2019-20 rowing season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic….She placed 11th in the Women’s Open 4+ at the San Diego Fall Classic…She also competed with the Second Varsity 8 at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational where her boat placed second behind Washington.
2018-19 SEASON: Kim rowed with both the Varsity 8 and the Second Varsity 8 during her freshman season...Earned 4th place as a team at the Pac-12 Championships... Helped USC to beat UCLA to extend USC's undefeated streak to 18-0 all-time...Defeated Virginia in a dual with the Varsity 8 at the Pac-12 Challenge...Won the Women's Open 4+ at the San Diego Fall Classic.
HIGH SCHOOL: Kim was a two-year letter winner in rowing at Holy Names Academy, and a one-year letter winner in gymnastics...In 2018, her team placed 7th in 8+ at the USRowing Youth Nationals...In 2015, Kim's gymnastics team were the league and district champions and placed third at state.Â
PERSONAL: Madeleine Ling Kim was born July 25, 2000...Daughter of Francis Kim and Cynthia Ko...Has a brother, Peter...Would like to visit Thailand, Fiji and Australia...Has always wanted to go on a cruise around the world...Her sports hero is Simone Biles because she remains humble and always tries to improve even though she is so successful...Majoring in psychology and aspires to become a doctor.
