2020-21 SEASON: Ezi Emenike enters her junior season as a member of the USC rowing team.
2020-21 SEASON: Emenike competed in six races during her sophomore season Competed with the Second Varsity 8+ at the Lake Las Vegas Pac-12 Invitational…Finished in third at the Dexter Lake Invitational with the Varsity 4+… Placed seventh at the Pac-12 Championships with the Second Varsity 8+.
2019-20 SEASON: Ezi Emenike competed in three races during her freshman season….The 2019-20 rowing season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic….Her most notable finish was winning the Women’s Open Novice 8+ at the San Diego Fall Classic…At the same regatta, she also competed in the Women’s Open 4+ where she placed 10th…She placed second behind Washington with the Varsity 8 at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Competed in the USRowing Club Nationals in 2017…Had first place finishes in the U19 8+ and Intermediate 8+...Placed second in the U19 4+...Was a 2018 Women’s U19 Selection Camp attendee.
HIGH SCHOOL: Emenike was a captain on the Maclay School rowing team…As a freshman, had a 2k time of 7:38.0…Academic honors include freshman class vice president…Was a Harvard Science Scholars Fair nominee…Was a National Honor Society member…Was the author for the Maclay Creative Writing Journal from 2017 through 2019.
CLUB: Competed on the Capital City Rowing Team for three years…Won first place in the HS Women’s 2k in 2019 and 2017 Southern Sprints…Placed second in the U19 8+ at the 2018 Southeast Regionals…Finished third in the U19 8+ at the 2017 USRowing Southeast Youth Regionals…Placed second in the Women’s U19 8+ at the 2018 Head of the Hooch.
