2018-19 SEASON: Emily Kong begins her sophomore season competing for the Women of Troy.
2017-18 SEASON: Kong participated in two races during her freshman season and rowed with the 3V8.
HIGH SCHOOL: Kong prepped at McLean High School in McLean, Va.
PERSONAL: Emily Jane Kong was born on November 12, 1998…Daughter of Jerry and Nikki Kong…Has one brother, Alexander…Majoring in biomedical engineering with the hopes of becoming a surgeon…Lists Miracle as her favorite movie and Grey’s Anatomy as her favorite TV Show…Last book she read was “A Brief History of Time” by Stephen Hawking…Upon graduation, plans to attend medical school…Hopes to one day travel to Greece.
