A 2024 graduate of Oaks Christian High in Westlake Village, Calif.... A 2024 McDonald's All-American nominee in her senior year after being sidelined with injuries... Earned a 2023 invitation to the MAMBA Foundation... A two-time Kyrie Irving Team Hela Member... As a freshman, was named the 2022 CIF Southern Section Player of the Year after helping lead Oaks Christian to its first CIF-SS title since 2003... Also a First Team All-State honoree and league MVP in 2022... One of 35 players invited to the USA Basketball U16 trials... Also was on track and dance teams at Oaks Christian... Played club for Nike EYBL programs Cal Storm and Cal Swish.... An honor student.

Brooklyn Jazz Shamblin was born Aug. 16, 2005 in Santa Barbara, Calif.... The daughter of Brian and Julie Shamblin... Has one brother, Ty, who was on the USC football team... Her father Brian played football at UC Santa Barbara... Her mother Julie is currently pursuing a doctorate at USC... Enjoys going to the beach, spending time with family and friends and playing with her animals in her free time... Lists Kobe Bryant as her biggest sports hero... Has always wanted to skydive... Hopes to travel to Japan, Bahamans and Australia... Would like to play professionally overseas after graduation... Majoring in human biology and hopes to pursue a career as a physical therapist.
