Bio
THIS YEAR: Â Senior Nicole Yeargin is in her second season as a sprinter on the USC track and field team. Â She transferred to USC from Kent State.
2020: Yeargin competed unattached in two indoor meets, posting a best of 23.85 in the 200m and 54.72 in the 400m at the Tiger Paw Invitational. Â She competed unattached at the Beach Opener and won the 400m with a time of 53.91 and ran a 23.5 200m race. Â The outdoor season was cancelled after that meet due to COVID-19.
BEFORE USC: Â She competed the last two seasons at Kent State in Kent, Ohio, after beginning her career at Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Â She has a PR of 23.26 (+1.2) in the 200m set at the 2019 UF Tom Jones Memorial and a PR of 52.76 in the 400m set in finishing 15th at the 2019 East Preliminary Rounds. Â Both her 200m and 400m times are Kent State school records. Â She was a MAC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete, named to the All-MAC Academic team and was a Dean's List scholar. Â At Ursuline College, she was a 2017 NCAA DII qualifier in the 200m and 400m. Â
HIGH SCHOOL:  Yeargin is a 2016 graduate from  Bishop McNamara HS in District Heights, Md. Â
PERSONAL: Â Nicole was born on August 11, 1997...Her parents are Lynn and Carlos Yeargin and she has one sister, Stephanie...She loves food grilled on a hibachi...Someday would like to visit Bali...After USC she would like to compete professionally and start her own business...She is a member of the Trojan Real Estate Association...She is a Real Estate Development major at USC.Â
