HIGH SCHOOL: Grady prepped at La Canada High School where he was a Junior National qualifier. In 2021, O’Grady was a two-time finalist at the California CIF Southern – Division 1 Section Championships, finishing second in the 100y breast (54.14) and third in the 200y free (1:37.59) ... Helped his club team (Rose Bowl Aquatics) to 2021 Speedo Summer Championships Title and 2019 Winter Junior Nationals West title … In 2019, he raced in three events at junior nationals, and notched a best time while competing at the Carlsbad Sectionals ... Holds multiple Rose Bowl Aquatics club team records and La Canada varsity swim team records. He broke two 30-year-old Rose Bowl Aquatics records in the 100 LCM breast (1:03.06 - Olympic Trials qualifying time) and the 200 LCM Breast (2:18.09) … 2020 USA Swimming Scholastic All-American ... O'GRADY'S PERSONAL RECORD
- At the 2025 Big Ten Championships, O’Grady was ninth in the 200y breast (1:54.50/1:53.66), 11th in the 100y breast (52.40/52.54) and 33rd in the 200y IM (1:46.78). Also helped USC finish sixth in the 200y medley relay (breast leg).
- At NCAA’s, O’Grady finished 11th in the 200y breast (1:51.35/1:50.48), 19th in the 100y breast (51.61) and helped USC to a 16th in the 400y medley relay (breast leg) and 18th in the 200y medley relay (breast leg).
- Broke the USC school record in the 200y breaststroke at the 2025 NCAA Championships, posting a 1:50.48.
- Finished fourth in both the 100y breast (52.08/52.11) and 200y breast (1:55.12/1:53.55) at the Texas Hall of Fame Swimming Invitational.
- CSCAA Second Team All-American (200y breast, 400y medley relay)
2023-24 SEASON:
- At the Pac-12 Championships, O’Grady finished 5th in the 200y breaststroke (1:53.72 / 1:52.77), 29th in the 200y IM (1:48.91), and 21st in the 100y breaststroke (53.39 / 53.94). He also helped USC to a 4th place finish in the 200y medley relay (1:25.84) and a 4th place finish in the 400y freestyle relay (2:54.33)
- As an individual in the NCAA Championships, O’Grady finished 33rd in the 200y breaststroke (1:55.76) and 39th in the 100y breaststroke (53.40)
2022-23 SEASON:
- At Pac-12’s, O’Grady finished 5th in the 200y breaststroke (1:52.77), 8th in the 100y breaststroke (52.27) and 24th in the 200y IM (1:46.44). He also helped USC to a fourth-place finish in the 200y medley relay (breaststroke leg), a fifth-place finish in the 400y free relay and participated in the 400y medley relay.
- At the NCAA Championships, O’Grady finished 34th in the 100y breaststroke (52.52) and 200y breaststroke (1:54.58).
2021-22 SEASON:
- At the NCAA Championships, O’Grady finished 16th in the 200-yard breast (1:52.41/1:52.89), 26th in the 100-yard breast (52.33) and 53rd in the 200-yard IM (1:45.74)
- At Pac-12’s, scored twice, finishing 2nd in the 100-yard Breaststroke (51.88/51.69) and 5th in the 200-yard Breaststroke (1:52.66/1:51.67)
- Broke the USC school record in the 200y breaststroke (set by teammate Ben Dillard) at the Pac-12 Championships, clocking a 1:51.67
- All-American (Honorable mention - 200y breast)
