2024-25 SEASON:

All-Big Ten Academic
At the 2025 Big Ten Championships, Selin was 20th in the 100y free (43.48/43.25) and 24th in the 50y free (19.38/19.70).
At the 2024 Texas Hall of Fame Invitational, Selin was 13th in the 50y free (19.82/19.91) and 35th in the 200y free (2:00.75).

2023-24 SEASON:

At the Pac-12 Championships, Selin finished 6th in the 50y free (19.41) and 16th in the 100y free (44.32). He also helped USC to 4th place finishes in both medley relays as well as a 5th place finish in the 200y freestyle relay
As an individual at the NCAA Championships, Selin finished 24th in the 50y free (19.16) and 56th in the 100y free (42.96)
Represented Germany at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, finishing 38th in the 50m Freestyle (22.54) during his Olympic debut

2022-23 SEASON:

At Pac-12’s, Selin finished 12th in the 50y free (19.46) and 24th in the 100y free (49.65). He also helped USC to a 4th place finish in the 200y medley relay (free leg) and a fifth-place finish in the 400y free relay (2:54.17), and participated in the 200y free relay.
At the NCAA Championships, Selin finished 32nd in the 50y free (19.35).

2021-22 SEASON:

As an individual at the NCAA Championships, Selin finished 34th in the 50-yard Freestyle (19.47).
Recorded the seventh fastest time in USC history in the 50y free (19.38)
Finished individually in the top-ten at the Pac-12’s as he took home eighth in the 50-yard Freestyle (19.45/19.54) and placed 35th in the 100-yard Freestyle (44.84).

HIGH SCHOOL: German national age record holder Selin raced his way to the men's 50 SCM free meet title in 21.25 while competing at the 2019 Salnikov Cup in St. Petersburg, Russia. His time further established his German Age record for the event … A few months prior, the teen clocked a 21.37 that gave him a 10^th place finish at the 2019 European Short Course Championships in Glasgow … At the 2019 LEN European Junior Championships, Selin won gold in the 50m free, touching in 21.83 to secure the European Junior record … Two weeks later, he won gold in the 50 free at Vladimir Salnikov Cup in Saint Petersburg, lowering his newly-established PB by another .12 to clock a 21.25. That time lowered his own German Age Record and came within .01 of the 21.24 World Junior Record that Kliment Kolesnikov had set in 2017 … Selin won the 50 free at the German Olympic Trials in April, but just missed the German qualifying time.
