USC’s Kate Miller Wins Third Event of the Weekend at the Trojan Diving Invitational

Trojans sweep the three-day invitational, claiming all eight events.
LOS ANGELES - USC emerged victorious on Saturday afternoon following a total sweep of the Trojan Diving Invitational at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
After claiming both springboard events, sophomore Kate Miller returned to claim the platform diving event as she tallied 630.90 points (321.40 from prelims). Trojan Emi Machida was sixth with 435.70 points.
On 1-meter, springboard specialist Moritz Wesemann came out on top, winning the event with a final score of 822.60 points. USC finished 1-2-3 as Wesemann led Luc Goertzen (621.95) and Robert Gref (611.15) who were second and third, respectively.
