BREAKDOWN: Harrison Henderson is a 6-foot-10, 225-pound skilled forward with a big upside. He has the ability to play multiple positions and can score both inside and out to three-point range.
2016-17: Henderson played in 13 games, averaging 1.3 points and 0.9 rebounds per game. Made his college debut at Texas A&M on Nov. 18 with a big contingent of family members on hand and had no points in one minute. Scored his first three collegiate points and grabbed a career-best four rebounds, had an assist, block and steal vs. New Orleans on Nov. 22...his first points came on a dunk. Scored two points and had two rebounds vs. Wyoming on Dec. 23 in the Las Vegas Classic final won by USC. Hit his first career three-pointer, had two rebounds and two blocks to finish with a career-high five points at Oregon on Dec. 30.

HIGH SCHOOL: Henderson graduated in 2016 from South Grand Prairie High in Grande Prairie, Texas. His team went 25-9 and reached the semifinals of the Texas 6A Regions 1 & 3 championships where they lost 53-47 to DeSoto, the eventual 6A state champion. Henderson averaged 12.1 points and 6.6 rebounds for South Grand Prairie and was named first team All-District. He was also an Academic First team selection and National Honor Society member. He was a member of the Debate Club while at South Grand Prairie.
PERSONAL: Henderson was born on March 18, 1997 in Durham, NC. His parents are Bill and Sharon Banks and his siblings are Brandon, Sable and Genesis. His biological father, Phil Henderson, passed away in 2013. He played at Duke on the 1987-90 teams which went to three Final Fours, with him serving as team captain his senior season. Harrison like to read, watch movies and hang out with friends in his spare time. Lis his favorite actor as Will Farrell, favorite movies as 21 and The Incredibles and favorite musical artists as Drake, Kendrick Lamar, j. Cole and Chance the Rapper. Says Kevin Durant is his sports hero because he feels that play similar games. His favorite foods are Seafood and soul food. Would like to travel to Dubai some day. After graduation would like to play in the NBA and then finish his career as an analyst for sports on television. He is a Professional Communications major at USC.
