2017: Wenzel, who rejoined the Trojans in the spring of 2017, will serve as as a backup center as a walk-on junior in 2017.
2016: Wenzel was a reserve walk-on sophomore offensive guard and center in 2016 before leaving the program mid-season due to an injury. He saw brief action in 1 game (Utah State).
2015: Wenzel was a reserve walk-on redshirt freshman center in 2015. He saw brief action in 1 game (Idaho).
2014: Wenzel redshirted as a reserve walk-on freshman center in 2014, his first year at USC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Wenzel made the 2013 All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference third team at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Olney (Md.) as a senior offensive lineman.
He was All-WCAC second team as a 2012 junior. Our Lady of Good Counsel went 11-1 in 2012 and won the league title. He was a 2-year starter after transferring to Our Lady of Good Counsel in 2012.
