Lockart, a four-star recruit, is ranked as the No. 77 player in the nation by ESPN, No. 138 by Rivals and No. 208 by 247Sports. He is rated as the No. 12 player in the state of California by ESPN, No. 14 by Rivals and No. 21 by 247Sports. He is touted as the No. 10 cornerback in the country by ESPN, No. 22 by Rivals and No. 24 by 247Sports. He is nationally ranked 77th on the ESPN 300 List, 138th on the Rivals 300 and 208th on the Top 247 List. He is a 2026 Navy All-American Bowl invitee.
As a senior in 2025, he transferred to Sierra Canyon HS, and he tallied 30 tackles, 12 PBUs and 1 fumble recovery. Prior to the season, he was named to the 2025 Prep Redzone California Preseason All-Southern California Team and the 2025 Cal-Hi Sports Preseason All-State First Team. He was a 2025 All-22 Regional Los Angeles Camp invitee and was named MVP. He was also a 2025 Under Armour Next Camp Series Los Angeles and a Rivals Camp Los Angeles attendee.
As a junior in 2024 at Loyola HS, he recorded 42 tackles, 11 PBUs, 5 INTs, 2 fumble recoveries and 1 forced fumble. He was named a MaxPreps Junior Second Team All-American. He was also named to the 2024 All-Mission League First Team, the 2024 All-CIF Southern Section Division 3 Team, the 2024 Prep Redzone All-Southern California Junior Team, the 2024 Cal-Hi Sports All-State Junior Team. Prior to the season, he was selected to the 2024 Cal-Hi Sports Preseason All-State Second Team and the 2024 Preseason MaxPreps High School Football Junior All-America Second Team. He was an attendee at the 2024 Under Armour Next: Future 50, the 2024 Rivals Camp Series Attendee Los Angeles and the 2024 Under Armour Next Camp Series Los Angeles.
As a sophomore in 2023, he tallied 56 tackles, including 2 for loss with 0.5 sack, 1 INT returned for 90 yards and a TD, 10 PBUs, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. He was named a 2023 MaxPreps Sophomore First Team All-American. He was also selected to the 2023 Prep Redzone All-Southern California Sophomore Team, the 2023 Cal-Hi Sports All-State Sophomore Football Team and the 2023 All-Angelus League First Team. He was named the 2023 All-American Bowl Combine Defensive MVP. He was also an Elite 11 and All-22 invitee. He was selected to the 2023 247Sports All-Combine Team for the 2023 All-American Bowl National Combine and was Defensive MVP.
As a freshman in 2022, 52 tackles, including 1 for loss, 9 PBUs, 3 fumble recoveries and 3 forced fumbles. He was selected as a 2022 MaxPreps Freshman First Team All-American. He was also named to the 2022 Cal-Hi Sports All-State Football: Frosh Watch List, the 2022 All-Angelus League First Team and was a 2022 National High School Combine by the U.S Army Bowl Invitee. Lockhart also competed in track and field, posting times of 11.17 in the 100-meter and 21.36 in the 200-meter.
