THIS SEASON: Annika Jensen enters her final season at USC.
2017: Scored in 15 games and had one multi-goal performance for a total of 18 goals in her junior season… Earned MPSF Scholar-Athlete honors… Had a career-high four-goal output against San Diego State on Feb. 3… Scored two goals at the NCAA Tournament.
2016: Jensen scored 15 goals as a sophomore... Scored in 10 games with three multiple-goal outings... First career goal was in the season opener vs. UC San Diego... Set career high with three goals at Whittier... Scored one goal in the NCAA Semifinals... An MPSF Scholar-Athlete.
2015: Jensen competed but did not score as a true freshman.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Jensen has been a member of the U.S. Youth National Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Jensen was named league MVP as a senior and won three North Coast Section championships at Campolindo High in Moraga, Calif.... In high school career, scored 208 goals and had 139 assists and 150 steals along with 65 ejections drawn... Also was named to the NCS and NISCA All-American first teams in 2013... As a junior, won the Northern California Championship and NCS Division II title... Also named NCS MVP and All-East Bay MVP in junior season... In sophomore season, reached the NCS Division II final... Named to all-league first team and second team all-East Bay-North Bay... As a freshman, won NCS championships and earned all-league honorable mention... Played club for Diablo Water Polo.
PERSONAL: Jensen is majoring in communication... Parents are Kristie and Kirk... Has three siblings, Tor, Kari and Soren... Tor plays water polo at UC Santa Barbara and Kari is on the USC women’s team... Father played water polo at Stanford... Enjoys hanging out with family and friends, going on hikes and watching movies in her free time... Lists Olympian Maureen O’Toole as her biggest sports hero... Has always wanted to go deep-sea diving... Hopes to travel to Bora Bora and Norway... Hopes to play water polo overseas after graduation... Born Aug. 18, 1995.
