2020-21 SEASON: Ludovica Braglia begins her redshirt senior season on the USC women's rowing team.
2020-21 SEASON: Braglia competed in seven races during her senior season… Helped the Varsity 8+ defeat San Diego State in a dual…Competed with the Varsity 8+ at the Lake Las Vegas Pac-12 Invitational…Finished in third at the Dexter Lake Invitational with the Varsity 8+… Placed seventh at the Pac-12 Championships with the Second Varsity 8+.
2019-20 SEASON: Braglia competed in two races during her junior season….The 2019-20 rowing season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic….She placed eighth in the Women’s Open 2- at the San Diego Fall Classic…She also raced with the Varsity 8 at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational where her boat placed second behind Washington.
2018-19 SEASON: Braglia rowed with both Varsity 8 and the Second Varsity 8 during her sophomore season...Earned 4th place as a team at the Pac-12 Championships... Defeated UCLA to extend USC's undefeated streak to 18-0 all-time...Named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team...Helped the Varsity 8 place first in the B-Final at the Longhorn Invitational...Defeated Iowa in a dual with the Second Varsity 8 at the Pac-12 Challenge...Finished in first place in the Women's Open 2- at the San Diego Fall Classic.
2017-18 SEASON: Braglia saw action in three races during her freshman season for the Women of Troy...She helped her fours boat place first in the Women's Open 4+ At the San Diego Fall Classic...Rowed with the Varsity 8 in the Women's Collegiate V8+ at the Head of the American where they placed fourth.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Five year member of the Italian U19 National Team...Earned second place in the 4- at the 2016 World Junior Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands...Placed second in the 8+ at the 2015 World Junior Championships in Rio de Janerio, Brazil...Claimed second place in the 8+ at the 2015 European Junior Championships in Raciece, Czech Republic.
CLUB: Braglia rowed for the Canottieri Moltrasio club team for nine years where she was a six-time Italian National Champion.
PERSONAL: Ludovica Braglia was born on July 22, 1998 in Milano, Italy...Daughter of Simone Braglia and Monica Tettamanzi...Her father was a professional soccer player in Italy...Has two brothers, Carlo and Martino, and one sister, Beatrice...Enjoys watching Game of Thrones...Majoring in international relations.
