No. 16 USC Women's Volleyball Hosts Wildcats, Buffaloes and Beavers

The Trojans will play their next six matches at Galen Center
LOS ANGELES – After four matches on the road, the 16th-ranked USC women's volleyball team (2-2) will play its next six at Galen Center and begins this weekend when Arizona (Sept. 11), Colorado (Sept. 12), and Oregon State (Sept. 13) visit for a reunion of former Pac-12 schools. The Trojans and the Wildcats will meet on Friday at 7 p.m. PT and be shown live on Big Ten Network. USC-Colorado will be on B1G+ on Saturday at 6 p.m.; a match that precedes the Trojans' football game against Louisiana in the LA Memorial Coliseum. Admission on Saturday is free to all and fans are encouraged to arrive early for football to enjoy the volleyball contest. The Trojans and Beavers (still members of the Pac-12) will meet on Sunday for a 2 p.m. matinee. The Women of Troy are 40-10 all-time in home-openers and have won three of their last four—all straight-set sweeps.

He is now 112-66 (.629) and is only the fourth USC head coach ever to collect 100 or more wins in school history. Mick Haley (435), Chuck Erbe (310), and Lisa Love (205) are the others. He is now also in position to lead the Trojans to their 1,200th all-time program win.

FRESH DIGS: The Trojans freshman class of setter Milly McGee (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Mira Costa HS), middle blocker Taliyah Hanks (Kalamazoo, Mich./Loy Norrix HS), outside hitter Layli Ostovar (San Clemente, Calif./Mater Dei HS), outside hitter Riley Malloy (Austin, Texas/Austin HS), and middle blocker Addison Coady (Newport Beach, Calif./Mater Dei HS) comprise the nation's fourth-ranked recruiting class according to PrepDig.com. Ostovar is considered the ninth-ranked recruit out of the 2026 class while Malloy (No. 24) and McGee (No. 27) give the Trojans three in the top 30.

HOME, SWEET HOME: USC is 231-64 (.783) all-time at Galen Center. The Trojans were 15-4 on home court in 2025. In 2011, USC was 12-1 in home matches and completed 2012 with a 17-1 mark. USC was 19-0 at home in 2007 for the only undefeated season at Galen Center on the way to an appearance in the NCAA national semifinal match. The Trojans are 21-5 all-time at Galen Center in NCAA tournament matches. The five losses were to Hawai'i (2008 and 2009), San Diego (2018), and Cal Poly (2025) each time in the second round; and to Washington in the 2013 NCAA Regional Final.
