Incoming Trojan Saniyah Hall Selected As 2026 McDonald’s All-American
February 02, 2026 | Women's Basketball
LOS ANGELES - USC women's basketball signee Saniyah Hall has earned one of the highest honors in high school basketball, securing a spot in the prestigious McDonald's All-American Game. Ranked as the No. 1 recruit in the nation, Hall was officially named a McDonald's All-American on Monday (Feb. 2) following an outstanding high school career.
The soon-to-be Trojan surpassed 2,000 career high school points earlier this season and was named to the 2026 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Girls' High School Player of the Year Midseason Team.
Competing on the international stage at just 16 years old, Hall led Team USA in scoring at the FIBA U19 World Cup, setting a program record with an average of 19.9 points per game while ranking among the team's top performers in rebounds, steals and overall impact. She teamed up with current Trojan Jazzy Davidson to help anchor a USA squad that captured the world championship.
Hall was also named the 2025 MaxPreps National Junior of the Year after a dominant season at Montverde Academy in Florida. She earned Naismith Trophy First Team All-America honors while averaging 20.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.8 steals and 1.3 blocks per game, leading the Eagles to a 26-2 record and a berth in the Chipotle National Championship game.
Hall joins a storied list of elite high school standouts who brought McDonald's All-American honors to USC. Trojan freshman Jazzy Davidson and sophomore Kennedy Smith earned the distinction in 2024 and 2025, respectively, while JuJu Watkins, Aaliyah Gayles, Clarice Akunwafo, Rayah Marshall and Kiki Iriafen are among other recent Women of Troy to receive the honor.
High school coaches, athletic directors and McDonald's All American selection committee members are eligible to nominate players starting in September. The voting and selection process begins in December and lasts through the formalization and announcement process in February. Committee members vote on several phases of ballots as the player pool narrows, and ultimately the final 24 are chosen.
The McDonald's All American girls' game will take place March 31 at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The game will air on ESPN2 at 5:30 p.m. ET.
