SAN DIEGO – USC Men's Basketball (8-1, 1-1 Big Ten) hits the road for its only true road contest of non-conference play against the University of San Diego on Tuesday, Dec. 9. The Trojans are 6-0 all-time against this West Coast opponent, and this will be their fourth meeting in San Diego's home court

USC Men's Basketball fell to Washington 84-76 on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Galen Center. The Trojans led by double-digits heading into the break, but the Huskies rallied behind a second-half surge to hand USC its first loss of the season.
The Trojans saw season-high scoring from Jordan Marsh (17) and a career-high for Jerry Easter II (13). While USC held Washington to 1-11 shooting from the three-point line in the first half, the Huskies took their first lead with 4:07 left. The Trojans couldn't recover from Washington's steady comeback.
SCOUTING THE TOREROS
Head Coach Eric Musselman is returning to the University of San Diego's campus to play a basketball game for the first time since he graduated in 1987, as he is 0-0 all-time against San Diego. Musselman helped the Toreros to two NCAA Tournament appearances and was a three-time West Coast Conference All-Academic team honoree during his time with the program.
Assistant Coach Michael Musselman also attended the University of San Diego and graduated in 2018. While he was a Torero, he was a manager for the men's basketball team.

Chad Baker-Mazara is one of two Trojans over the last 10 years to average 20+ points through nine games, as he is currently averaging 20.9 points per game. The only other Trojan to average over 20 points through nine games was Boogie Ellis in the 2023-24 season, when he averaged 21.4 points per game.
TOLEDO'S FINEST
Toledo native Jerry Easter II has embraced his new role as the starting point guard for USC, stepping up for the team after some injuries. In the last two games, Easter finished with double-digit points, topping his career-high both times with 11 against Oregon and 13 against Washington. The freshman is also getting more comfortable in USC's systems, contributing four assists in his last outing.
