USC Men's Basketball Ranked #24 In AP Top 25 Men's College Basketball Poll

This is the first time USC has been ranked since Nov. 20, 2023.
LOS ANGELES – The most recent AP Top 25 Men's College Basketball poll has been released this morning, Dec. 1, and USC Men's Basketball is ranked 24th by the voters. This is the first time USC has been ranked in the Top 25 since Nov. 20, 2023, when the Cardinal and Gold were 23rd in the nation.
This ranking comes after the Trojans' phenomenal start to the 2025-26 season, going 7-0 heading into Big Ten play. They won their first three games by 20 points or more, the first time the program has achieved this feat since the 1928-29 season. USC then went on to beat three-straight opponents in one-possession victories before claiming the Southwest Maui Invitational title, led by tournament MVP Chad Baker-Mazara. This 7-0 start is the best for the Trojans since they went 13-0 to begin the year in 2021-22.
The Trojans will look to stay undefeated on the season as they begin Big Ten play this week. Here are some of the accolades for this team and its players through the first seven games:
