USC Men’s Basketball’s Acrisure Series Opponents Set

The Trojans will face South Carolina and Utah State in Palm Desert.
LOS ANGELES — The USC Men's Basketball team will face South Carolina and Utah State during the Acrisure Series, held at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, Calif. from Nov. 25-26.
The Trojans will take on the South Carolina Gamecocks on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 1:30 p.m. PT, before facing the Utah State Aggies at 11:00 a.m. PT on Thursday, Nov. 26. Both games will be broadcasted on CBS Sports Network. Tickets for the 2026 Acrisure Series Thanksgiving Event start at $25 plus fees and go on sale Saturday, August 8 at 10:00 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster.com.
This is the second time the Trojans will compete in the Acrisure Series under Head Coach Eric Musselman. During Musselman's first season in 2024-25, USC faced Saint Mary's and New Mexico in the second-annual Acrisure Classic.
South Carolina is coming off a 13-19 season under fourth-year head coach Lamont Paris. The series is tied 2-2 between these two teams, with the last result being a USC win in Las Vegas during the 2011-12 season. Additionally, head coach Eric Musselman has a 3-3 record against South Carolina from his time at Arkansas.
Entering the season with a new head coach in the revamped Pac-12 Conference, the Utah State Aggies have been one of the nation's most successful programs outside the Power-4 ranks. During the offseason, first-year head coach Ben Jacobson came over from Northern Iowa, where he led the Panthers to five NCAA Tournament appearances in his 20-year tenure. USC leads 7-5 in the all-time series and Musselman is 7-2 against the Aggies from his days coaching against them at Nevada.
The Trojans will look to improve upon last year's 18-14 record with three returners, seven transfers and the No. 5 recruiting class in ESPN's rankings, which is USC's second-best recruiting class since ESPN started tracking that data in 2007. A full schedule is forthcoming.
