The Trojans will play three of their last four regular-season matches on the road

LOS ANGELES – No. 16 USC (20-6, 11-5 Big Ten) meets Oregon (15-11, 6-10) on the road for a midweek contest (Wednesday, Nov. 19) and then hosts Illinois (13-12, 8-8) for Senior Night at Galen Center on Saturday (Nov. 22). The Trojans and Ducks will be shown live on Big Ten Network and the USC-Illinois match will be carried on Big Ten Plus. The Women of Troy will honor Allie Hazelwood, Rylie McGinest, Madison Pietsch, Dani Thomas-Nathan, Gala Trubint, and Megan Verbiest in pre-match ceremonies on Saturday afternoon before the team's final regular-season home bout.

USC is led by sixth-year head coach Brad Keller who has the unique experience of having coached both men's and women's programs at both USC and UCLA. Overall, Keller is 105-63 (.625) as the Trojans' head coach.

LAST TIME OUT: USC extended its win streak to nine with a sweep of Rutgers—matching the longest streak under head coach Brad Keller—but fell to No. 1-ranked Nebraska in straight sets to see the streak come to an end. Despite the loss to the Cornhuskers, a new attendance record for women's volleyball at Galen Center was set as 9,072 fans packed the arena for the highly anticipated matchup. London Wijay led the Trojans in scoring with 14.0 points on 11 kills against the Scarlet Knights and then did it again with 10 kills against the Huskers. She also had 13 digs to log her fifth double-double of the season in the loss to Nebraska. Rylie McGinest put up eight blocks (two solo) against Rutgers and then had three against Nebraska to lead the USC defense on the weekend.

AVCA POLL POSITION: The Trojans open the 2025 season ranked No. 21 in the AVCA coaches' poll—the same position it held to open the 2024 season. Overall, USC has appeared in the coaches' poll 555 times, which ranks sixth all-time. The Women of Troy have held a spot among the poll's top 10 teams 317 times, which ranks eighth all-time, and the Trojans have held the No. 1 ranking 47 times for seventh all-time. Since 1982—the year of the poll's inception—USC has appeared in the final poll 35 of 42 times with 18 finishes in the top 10; 12 in the top five, and twice as the No. 1-ranked team (2002, '03).

ONCE AROUND THE BLOCK: USC's 257.5 total blocks leads all Big Ten teams and its 2.71 blocks per set ranks second in the league and is 18th nationally. USC posted 16.0 blocks in a win over Loyola Marymount (Aug. 31) and has reached double-digit blocks 13 times. In 2024, USC reached double-digit blocks 20 times in 32 matches including season highs of 19.5 blocks twice: vs. Kansas State (Sept. 6) and vs. Loyola Marymount (Sept. 19).

CENTURY CITY: Sixth-year head coach Brad Keller reached 100-career wins with the Trojans' 3-1 victory over Washington on Oct. 26. He is now 105-63 and is the fourth USC head coach ever to collect 100 or more wins in school history. Mick Haley (435), Chuck Erbe (310), and Lisa Love (205) are the others.

PLUCKY DUCKS: Since 2019, USC and Oregon have played five-set matches seven times (five times at Galen Center and twice in Eugene), and all but one have gone the Ducks' way. Prior to the recent plethora of marathon matches with Oregon, USC owned a dominant 55-13 all-time record in the head-to-head history. The Trojans are now 58-21 against the Ducks (7-6 in five-setters) including a 28-9 mark in Eugene. From Oct. 26, 1990, to Oct. 12, 2007, the Women of Troy won 34consecutive matches over the Ducks.
