LOS ANGELES – No. 17 USC Women's Volleyball's (20-6, 11-5 Big Ten) nine-match winning streak came to an end at the hands of the No. 1 Nebraska Cornhuskers (26-0, 16-0 Big Ten) in the Galen Center on Sunday, Nov. 16, in three sets (13-25, 16-25, 20-25).

USC will hit the road to take on the University of Oregon on Wednesday, Nov. 19, inside the Matt Knight Arena. First serve will be at 7:30 p.m. Fans can watch the action on the Big Ten Network.
MATCH NOTES
KEY PLAYERS
- Redshirt sophomore outside hitter London Wijay finished with her fifth double-double of the season. She notched 13 digs and 10 kills through three sets.
- Redshirt junior outside hitter Adonia Faumuina made an impact from the pin. She concluded the match with nine kills and a block.
- Freshman setter Reese Messer led the team's offense. She secured 27 assists and two kills while helping on defense with seven digs and a block.
- Senior middle blocker Rylie McGinest was the most efficient hitter for the Trojans. She hit at a .400 clip, producing five kills and only one error on 10 swings.
- For Nebraska, three players finished with double-digit points, including Virginia Ariano, Taylor Landfair and Harper Murray, who all had 10 kills each. Rebekah Allick was the most efficient hitter for the Cornhuskers, getting nine kills with no errors on 13 swings to hit at .400.
- The Women of Troy came out strong against the Cornhuskers in the first set. These two teams were tied four times, with the lead changing twice.
- After the first eight points, Nebraska's offense lit up, hitting at a .500 clip compared to USC's .125 in the first set.
- Abigail Mullen led the efforts for the Trojans in the second set. She grabbed four kills with only one error to hit .300 in that set.
- USC came out strong in the third set, not wanting to give this match up without a fight. The Trojans forced more errors out of the Cornhuskers in this set with five attack errors and one service error. It was also the closest set in this match, with a score of 25-20 in favor of Nebraska.

- The volleyball community showed up to the Galen Center today as 9,072 fans packed the stands, setting a new Galen Center record for women's volleyball. This record beat out last season's crowd of 7,303 against UCLA.
- USC is now 5-4 all-time against the Cornhuskers. They are also 8-25 when playing the No. 1-ranked team.
- USC's nine-match win streak came to an end at the hands of the Cornhuskers. This was the longest conference win streak under Coach Keller's tenure.
