USC falls to 3-10 overall and 0-1 in Pac-12 play. Arizona moves to 6-6, 1-0 Pac-12.
The Trojans fell behind 12-0 through four innings and despite scoring seven straight runs, couldn't come all the way back.
Arizona broke the game open with a seven-run third inning and would finish with 14 hits in the contest. After the Trojans dropped behind by double-digits, Garren Rizzo came out of the pen and quieted the Arizona bats while USC scored seven straight, capped by a four-run sixth inning. That was as close as USC would get, however, as they were outscored 4-2 down the stretch.
