Takeuchi Homers Twice, but USC Baseball Falls to Arizona

USC falls to 3-11 overall and 0-2 in Pac-12 play. Arizona moves to 7-6, 2-0 Pac-12.
The teams traded the lead early, with Arizona scoring in the first and then USC answering with three runs in the bottom of the second. A two-run top of the third inning tied it for the Wildcats, however. Arizona took the lead for good with a single run in the top of the fourth.
Takeuchi hit his first career home run in the sixth, but it came after a four-run frame for Arizona. Takeuchi wasn't finished, hitting his second homer of the day in the bottom of the eighth.
